The "Detective's Map" (Interactive Geography)

 Children color a paper animal (e.g., a Caretta-Caretta turtle). You take a photo of it. Using a tablet, the child "pins" their animal's photo onto a digital map.

 

App:Canva. Upload a base image (the world map) and let kids tap to add "hotspots" containing their drawings.    It turns abstract geography into a game of "where does my friend live?"

Animal racegame

  Students play online games with partner schools  I In 11.3 once you coordinate with the group you will be playing with, you will set a time and all join a Webex meeting (you will decide whose Webex account to use). Whoever is the host of the Webex will share their screen with the game open—just as we do when presenting documents—so that all the children can play at the same time. If two or four classes are playing, they will take turns rolling the dice and moving their token.
